Q.  Where do you get your feathers from?
A.  All feathers used are from domestic birds or legally taken wild turkey feathers.  None are from protected, migratory, or endangered species.
 

Q.  How do you paint on these feathers?  What type of paint do you use?
A.  All feathers are painted with acrylic and sprayed with a clear acrylic finish (coat).
 

Q.  Can I just buy the feather without the frame?
A.  Yes.  You have the choice to purchase a feather either with or without a frame.  (Prices vary)
 

Q.  How do you frame your feathers?
A.  Each feather is framed  behind glass with a floated type appearance.
 

Q.  How much time do you spend on one feather?
A.  The times range for each feather depending on size and complexity.  The times can range from 3 to 24 hours.
