OUR SPECIAL PLACE OF LOVE Come with me to our special place of love A special place known only to you and I and God up above Leave the world outside the door And take my hand together we will walk Into our special paradise If you listen closely, You can hear the birds singing Our own love song ever so lovely A song written in heaven by angels Assigned to us by God alone When I look into your eyes I see the love you have for me I feel like a delicate flower Just opening after a gentle rain I know that I am safe in your loving arms I know I can be real with you because I know you would never hurt me As I touch your face I feel you quiver, And I see the tear run down your cheek You are safe with me, my love I feel so honored that you Would show me this side of you As we look out over the waters, I see the sun glistening over the pond Oh what riches we have in this, Our private place of love We are surrounded by such beauty all around We have our love; The beautiful singing of the birds; Diamonds dancing across the waters; And God in heaven smiling down at us.
