St. Cyril Theatre Guild-Bye, Bye Birdie

About Our Production

1995 Bye, Bye Birdie:

...Directed by Betty Hunt

...Produced by Joyce Piedmont

Music by Charles Strouse
Lyrics by Lee Adams
Book by Michael Stewart

This show had people laughing so hard they were crying. Young Justin Smith stole every scene he was in as did Julia Czarnik who portrayed Mama. However, the classic moment from this production had to be the Mayor and his wife giving Conrad Birdie the key to the city. When Bill and Lisa Ortiz made this presentation to Ron Sprague, they also gave the Guild a moment never to be forgotten.
