Due to a series of problems affecting this production, it turned out to be one of our most expensive shows. We unexpectedly "lost our lease" at the St. Agnes' Theatre so we had to stage the show in the Parish Hall at St. Cyril's. We were pressed into using a rented stage, rented sound equipment, temporary lighting, and make-shift dressing rooms. These events, combined with limited seating, kept our revenues small and expenses high. To illustrate the limited facilities, we had one actor, who shall remain nameless, actually use the parking lot as a dressing room during a matinee performance. Even though our bottom line on production costs ended up in the red, fun was had by everyone involved and, again, we learned some great lessons from this experience.
