Prek Loc. When we left the ARVN position, we went back the same way we came in. Where the jungle came together, the lead track went off the path a little to the left to avoid using the same spot we had created coming in. I just happened to have my camera out and took this shot as it hit a land mine. If you look closely, you can see the smoke coming up. The tracks behind each went off either left or right a short distance, and we all jumped off, and headed towards the tree line. We encountered no resistance and luckily no one was seriously hurt on the lead track -Jim Radetzky

After a fire-fight, Charlie Company turned in 2 weapons they found: an RPG2 rocket launcher, and a rifle complete with bayonet.-Jim Radetzky
