The Rainy Season

Out on Operation Junction City III, we were going to be in this particular location for a few days, so we dug a hole and placed the generator in it. This was to cut-down the noise of it running all day and night as it powered the lights and radios inside the TOC (Tactical Operations Command). This was the first and last time we did this, since the rain came down so hard and fast, we couldn't get the generator out before the hole filled with water. Thank goodness for back-up batteries!
