Picture 96 - Bravo Company's HQ element on Riverine Operation during the Summer of 1969. "Fun times on a APB (Assault Patrol Boat)!" In this photo are Cpt. Frank Begovich - Bravo 6, Joe Lucas - RTO, Jim Nelson - RTO, Bob Pries - Co. Senior Medic, Bob Locke - Arty Recon Sgt, along with several of our navy Brothers. The 2/47th worked many riverine operations in 1969 and 1970, after the 1st and 2nd Brigades were deactivated out in July - August 1969. |
