11/67 As far as I know, everyone got a least a 1 day in-country R&R. We had ours in
Vung Tau, which was rumored to also be the VC's R&R location. You couldn't feel completely relaxed
with this thought in the back of your mind since we didn't have our weapons with us after checking in

The Center served as our hotel, where there were clean beds, (and here in the outdoor concession area) booze (beer only?) and
