After Allie passed away, the children, nurses and teachers at her school put together a beautiful memory book for us and these are some of the writings that really mean a lot to me. The book was bound and the front is teddy bears. It is the most beautiful and thoughtful gift I have ever received.
MY DEAR ALLIE
Allie, Allie, my angel above,
I write this poem with all of my love.
I want you to know that you're missed so much,
I love you always and will never forget your touch.
DEAR MR. AND MRS. PHILLIPS:
You are special to me,
If you need me just call, I beg of you please.
I'm always there for a hug and a kiss,
In my home, your presence is missed.
PS - I love you Princess.
Love,

MY FRIEND ALLIE
Not to think about Allie
Not to get up for the day
Not to walk into the Clinic
Not to ask are you okay.
Yes, you can use my pens
To draw your family tree
Yes, you can have some raisins
Would you sign him in for me?
Can I stay in here during recess?
Can I write this here for you?
Can I play with the toys in that drawer?
Here's an ornament for each of you.
What did you do this weekend?
What is your new puppy's name?
Drink another cup of water then
Sit down for more of the same.
We treated you with humor
As if you were one of your own.
Kept you with us a little bit longer
If truth were really to be known.
Not to think about Allie,
Is Always easier for one,
But not to think about Allie,
Is easier said than done.
With love,
