Brian & I wrote Chon during the Spring of 2003. The University of Texas Pan American produced our play and allowed us to direct it as well. We auditioned 55 people for only 12 speaking parts during the latter part of October. Rehersals began in November and the play ran for nine performances. The play received much media attention and the audience immediately embraced the play. Thanks to everyone who helped make our play such a success.
