SPLENDER PIX ~ 8/12/99 ~ Paradox in Austin, TX

Splender was soooooooo awesome!!!! Not many peeps there!!!! So I had them all to myself, almost ... :o) While the opening act was playing (well, if you can call them that ... damn they were something scary!!!), I saw Waymon (the singer) walk in. Introduced myself and we chatted for awhile ... What a sweetheart!!!!! Then later, I saw Jonathan (guitarist) walking around, did the same thing ... what a doll!!!! Then, they played and kicked my a*s!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn they are as good live as their cd!!!! They played all their songs, except "Spin". I was singing my heart out!!!!! Whewwho!!!!!! Took 3 rolls of film ... took some kick a*s pix I must say!!!! Anyways, after the show, some dude from Sony (!roi) poked me (on the shoulder ... hello, nasty peeps) and gave me his # and addy for copies of my pix ... Wow, flattery will get you everywhere ... heehee Anyways, later he asked me if I wanted to meet the band ... Hello, I said yes, so he took be "backstage". It was sooo cool!!! They were all back there signing stuff for fans and I took some more pix. They were so sweet ... got to meet 'em all and chat with 'em all too.
