A Fire supporter:I attended the Fire match the other night when Hristo Stoichkov started in attack. All through the first half he appeared extremely irate at everyone including his teammates. Is he happy here?
Tribune's Bob Foltman:I think that is more of a reflection of Hristo's personality than displeasure with his teammates. He was like that in the very first game before he even knew who everyone was. Hristo is a very passionate player who wants to win desperately.

Fire Head Coach Bob Bradley:When Hristo left it really hurt our team. We're better when he's out there.

Fire forward Hristo Stoitchkov on today's match:People came out to watch us today knowing that Kansas City was the only undefeated team. WE played very well I think and I really couldn't ask for more. We worked hard in training all week and our mentality has been very positive, this is very important, to keep this sort of attitude, especially against KC.
(On his fifth goal of the season)I was important for our team to get that first goal. I am glad I was able to help out today.
(Stoitchkov on not taking the Fire's PK) I thought Josh would do a good job at it. He's an incredible player and he's got a great foot. I could have taken it and scored perhaps, but it was important for Josh get to take it, he's a great player. He missed it, but he scored later, which was wonderful. He's starting to regain his confidence.

Hristo Stoitchkov said in front of the Spanish press that he has been pleasantly surprised to hear that his friend Sera Ferrer is going to lead Barca.
Hristo:He must bring back the natural connection between the first team and the school of the club, which was erased during the time of Van Gaal. A team must own no more than four foreign players and the rest should be local boys.
In the field Ferrer is what he is in life-responsible, requirable, critical and over all a real worker. He is completely ready to lead a team like Barca. There are many reasons for me to support him, because I know him very well.Just look at what he did with teams like Mallorca and Betis and this says everything. After that he decided to work for the juvenile school of Barca, though he had offers from many other teams. He is a real worker in the field and not some cabinet specialist like Van Gaal.Ferrer is a real professionalist and I wish him luck from my heart.
