The Disadvantages to the Contact Between the Native Americans and Europeans
There were many disadvantages of the contact between Native Americans and Europeans. First of all control over the fur trade led to fighting between the indians. The Eurpeans encouraged the fighting and they were able to take away the indians land.
The trade and the wars changed the life ways of many indians. They had changed the way they farmed,hunted, cooked, and even dress. They had lost all of their traditional ways and skills. Many quit using these skills that had helped them live in the woodlands Instead, they spent their time hunting for fursand fighting each other over the trade with the Europeans.
