MUSICAL HISTORY:...At the age of 13, I started playing in small bands around my hometown of Gonzales, Texas. I played the tuba in the high school band (1st chair) and eventually ended up in the Drifters of Victoria. We recorded a song called "Corpus Christi Winds" which was released as a 45 rpm single. The video for that song was shown on HBO and other music video shows nationwide. We also provided music for and appeared in the movie "Johnny B. Goode" w/ Anthony Michael Hall and Robert Downey Jr. After the Drifters broke up in 1988, I started working in the Taylor Brothers Band and after 11 years " I'm Still Here."
