MUSICAL HISTORY:...Mt first experience with music began with my dad. We would often go and play music with friend and relatives. I started out on a mandolin when I was about eight years old. I started playing in my first band when I was in the eighth grade. I was asked to play in a band that a group of seniors had started. I was so young that they had to drive me to every dance. That band was "Don and the Sunny River Playboys".Later I joined another band the Decibels and played my 11th and 12th grade high school proms. Years later I joined a band from El campo called "Sammy and the Midnighters" and played with that group for about three years. I played with another local band from Wharton before joining "Dixie" from Bay City. I was in Dixie a number of years before a job change forced me to leave. I then played with "Special Delivery" from Refugio. After filling in on numerous occasions for the Taylor Brothers Band, I became a member about three years ago...and now you know the rest of the story.........
