Mood: don't ask
Well, it seems that I'm a few weeks behind in getting our news up and posted on here. Want to apologize for that!
The past few weeks haven't been easy on us! If I wasn't sick, then Shanty was. It was if we just kept passing it back and forth with it getting worse with each pass.
Then there's been the days that he's had to be out of town here and there. I know that a lot of you will only let him touch you when it comes to ink, so we would like to say thanks for the patience here lately!
We are going to start having to make some changes when it comes to appointments. For future reference, we will be charging you $30 to make an appointment to get a tattoo. That $30 will be credited towards the price of your tattoo if you show up or call 24 hours in advance to reschedule. If you call after that, or do not show up, the $30 will not be refunded. We hate to have to do this, but here lately we've had to turn a lot of people away due to scheduled appointments. That's not the bad part, the bad part is when those appointments don't show up, and we are now out the money on them, and have lost business elsewhere also.
The way this will work is: When you call to make an appointment, we will take your credit card info from you. This will be ran to verify it is a good card. $30 will be charged to it at that time. When you come in, we will deduct that $30 from the total cost of the tattoo. If you walk in to make an appointment for later in the week/month, a $30 deposit will be required either in cash or on a credit card.
If you refuse the $30 deposit, your time slot will not be held for you and you will not be guaranteed a time that day. You will be considered a walk-in and be put in the "first come, first served after all appointments" category.
On a slightly different note, I would like to remind everyone that due to the large amounts of hot checks we were getting, we no longer take checks. That means we do not take checks from anyone, at anytime, from anywhere. NO EXCEPTIONS!! We will accept cash and credit/debit cards.
