And what of the ones you hurt,
Do you feel their pain?
Do you know of the hurt you cause?
Do you delight in the loss of trust?
The lies told, hurt many, many people,
Trust has become a forbidden word….
Now to trust, in most cases,
Is to be hurt deeply….
And what of the few honest ones?
Will they fade away forever?
For they will find no one to trust them…
In Life and Love there must be trust,
But to start out with lies,
Totally undermines this trust,
And what of the Old Saying,
“The eyes are the windows to the Soul”
What if this window no longer reveals truth?
If these windows have been clouded,
How then do we see the Honest ones?
I have trusted one and opened my Heart,
Will he let me down, Will he be my final Hurt?
This is the one last chance,
To find true happiness…
For if he is not who he seems,
If all has been lies,
Then I will no longer trust,
I will no longer open my Heart…
So if you think of lying,
Think of all that goes with these lies,
Think of all the hurt and pain they cause,
Is it worth it, too destroy others,
To leave scars on their Hearts….
Think more of yourself My Friend,
Do not Lie, do not Hurt others,
For without this, Happiness will find you,
It is surely there for all to have,
Give it time and it will find you....
Hold truth as a precious thing,
Hold it close to your Heart,
And take the time to teach others,
Of the precious truth,
Try to make the world a better place….
Without Truth, There is no Honor,
Without Honor, there is no Life…..
