Feburary 21 1862: The British win the Battle of Albany. Febuarry 24: The British Navy is sent to destroy the American blockaide. Febuary 25: Union troops capture Nashville, Tennesse. March 9: The battle of the Monitor and the Virginia(Merrimac). March 17: The Second battle of Albany occurs when the Americans push back the Britsh. April 4: The Amercians capture Yorktown, VA, but the next day they're met by Lee's troops and pushed back into Maryland. April 6-8: The bloodiest day in the War of Succesion when in Kentucky The Britsh and Confederates practully liquidate the Americans. Casualties reach up to a total of 70,000. April 20: The British fleet massacres the Americans whoalts the blockadie after the tiny force of twelve American ships. May 3: The Army of Tennisseee recaptures Nashvile and the rest of Tennessiee May 14: The battle of Gettysburg occurs. The Confederates loose with McCllean refusing to follow the army. In the next day he's replaced by General Burnsides. May 20 - 25: The British capture New York and the Hudson Vally. June 1: The British Marines and Navy raid and burn Portland, OR. June 6: The Confederates capture Frankfrut. June 25-July 2: The Battle of Philidelphia occurs whith Lee's troops and support by the British troops in New York eventully capture the city. July 11: The Army of Tennisse loose at the Battle of Bowling Greens in Tennissee. July: The war loose support at home and the Democrats start calling for an end to the war. which Lincoln refuses. Augest 29-30: The Battle of St. Louis occurs whith a closee victory for the Confederates. September 7: Congress demands for President Lincoln to put and end to the war. Lincoln refuses. September 12: Congress impeaches Lincoln. He steps down peacefully bt quotes "Contrary to beleif I'm not a tyrant . . . All's I want to do is protect this once great union. BUt is seems as I have surly failed . . . And I warn you the United States will later regret this for we are not to trust are moral ridden southern brothers . . . As we are surly losing the war I guess it's a good thing that I'm not he one signing the Peace treaty conferming the excitance to the so called Confederate States of America. For I'd rather die a thousand death's then sign that parchment. September 13: Hannibal Hamlin is sworn in as President Sept 20: Hamlin taking the advice of his advisers calls for a treaty withc the Confederates. November 25: The Treaty of Hamburg is signed in Germany Treaty Terms: *The US will officaly recognise the COnfederacy *The CS will receve New Mexico Territory ( Nw Mexico and Arizona) Kentucky and Missori.
