(D. THORNGAGE/T. LEAR/C. DECRACKEN)
Buy our cd
Buy our cd
In the recording studio
We just threw the lyrics together
Why try? why bother?
[guitar (half) solo]
It doesn’t matter
[no guitar]
We ain’t gonna try
No, we ain’t gonna try
We ain’t gonna try anymore
It doesn’t matter what we say
You’ll buy our cd anyway
Payin’ twenty dollars
Something... something... cactus bastard
Because our name says it’s great
Yep, wrote all the music
The night before
[guitar (half) solo]
[no guitar ]
But you’ll think we’re great anyway
So buy our cd today
Come on
Everyone loves cactus bastard
Buy our overpriced piece of junk
Say it’s great because it’s us
Buy our cd
Buy our cd
[guitar (half) solo]
[no guitar]
[guitar solo]
We ain’t gonna try
No, we ain’t gonna try
We ain’t gonna try anymore
Our last cd’s were great
Tell everyone this is great
It’s got our name on it
So everyone will say it’s the best
Twenty dollars thrown away
*The reason people hate this song: The lyrics are made up on the spot and accidentally explain the whole reason this cd bombed. Definately the Fruedian Slip of the cd. The instruments are totally uncoordinated. The guitars are the worst. The guitarists don’t know when they are supposed to do their solos and then get lost. A guitar will start to do a solo but then stops because a solo doesn’t belong there, then the guitarist is lost and doesn’t play what he’s supposed to, leaving missing riffs.
