Cirdan's role in Middle Earth is known well, just as is Sam Gamgee's because of the talents of J.R.R. Tolkien, and not the GameMaster. His listing among the characters of this campaign is only due to his acceptance of the Heroes' quest, and willingness to allow them passage into Mithlond, and the Grey Havens.
