NAME: Findulas
TYPE: Elven Warrior
PLACE IN THE QUEST:
Now residing in Mithlond, the Grey Havens of Cirdan the Shipwright, Findulas was once a great warrior of the Second Age, and fought valiantly to preserve the elven city of Ost-en-Edhil when it came under assault by Sauron in the late Second Age. Findulas is a Noldo elf of high status and quick temper, and he takes a rather dim view of other races, preferring not to entangle the elven race in their affairs. But apparently he does have a more peaceful side, as one of his favorite pasttimes is carving ornate wooden tobacco pipes. He is the father of Finglorian and grudgingly allowed his son to take part in the quest of the Heroes for the Gift of the Valar.
