Finglorian joined the Heroes in the Grey Havens, during the long quest for the Gift of the Valar. He was assigned to help the Heroes by his father, Findulais, albeit grudgingly on his father's part. A valiant elf, he ended up journeying with the Heroes into the Pales to face a terrible foe, the evil Gorgoroth, and helped the Heroes to emerge victorious.
