NAME: Lucifer Langolin

PLACE IN THE QUEST:
A mighty demon of the fallen Vala, Morgoth, Lucifer survived the ages following the War of Wrath only to haunt humanity once more in the Tharbad segment of the Final Campaign. A powerful shape-shifting vampire, Lucifer was the second of two leaders of the Tharbad merchant's guild--a position he used to carry out evil deeds from the top of Tharbad's political arena. He was personally responsible for the deaths of many key players in the future of Middle Earth, having believed to have aligned himself with the mysterious and truly evil entity, Gorgoroth. Lucifer was finally slain by the Heroes in an extremely close battle at the top of his mansion in Tharbad. Although he was defeated in Tharbad, along with those whom he transformed, the Gift of the Valar was lost, believed to be taken north into the vast kingdom of Arthedain, leading to the second segment of the quest. Lucifer Langolin's legacy of evil shall remain forever in the minds of those who fought in Tharbad.
