Connection with Heroes: The Heroes' first employers
The Monks are a group of religious devotees who live in a monestary about a day's journey outside of Tharbad. The monks paid Theangel to organize a group of adventurers, the Heroes, to retrieve a magical sword which was stolen from them. Ever since, they have in gratitude provided the Heroes with healing and shelter whenever asked of them, and have remained steadfast friends to the Heroes, even coming to Tharbad to testify for the Heroes at their trial following an incident outside the Broken Oar.
