ME
This is a picture of me, (Jim Bermingham)enjoying one of my beers and a cigar while boiling wort. You just can't brew without a beer and a good cigar.
My first experience with Homebrewing was capping the bottles of my dad's homebrew in 1949 when I was 6 years old. I brewed my first beer when I was a freshman in college in 1961.
After graduating from college in 1965, I Moved to Dallas and went to work for Collins Radio Co. Collins was bought out by Rockwell International in 1969. The last 15 years at Rockwell I was a Program Manager in the International Systems Division. I spent an average of 6 months a year outside the continental US. I have enjoyed local beer from all the Western European Countries, the Far Eastern Countries, the Near Far East, the Countries on the Arabian Peninsula, and most African Countries.
In 1989 I retired from Rockwell and moved to Parker County, TX. Where my wife and I bought a small ranch. No longer traveling and drinking the world's greatest beers, I started brewing my own once again.
This is also a picture of me. I'm stiring the mash to keep the temp. constant.
