Interview by Pitbull from Gore Rot webzine. Responses by Daniel.
hallo man this is pitbull from gore rot webzine here is the interview.
1.Tell our readers about Gored´s history and how it all started.
Chris was out looking for brutal guitarists and I was out looking for a brutal drummer. I had just moved to San Antonio and I met up with chris at a show. We talked about what kind of music we liked and we both mentioned that we played. We agreed on a day to get together to see how things would work out. Miguel was already chosen by chris to be the vocalist. After hearing his vocals I immediately accepted him. The same day we got together was the same day we started writing our first song Grotesque Bodily Disfigurement. After writing several more songs we started to search for another guitarist because we wanted to harmonize and create leads. We then tried out Llamar Vasquez and he was quickly accepted.
2.What do you guys think of the brutal death/gore scene.
The scene is strong and widespread. People who dont know about this style of music are not aware of vastness of the Brutal underground. We support anyone trying to make the scene stronger by putting out shows, distros and even friends spreading the word to others.
3.Any brutal bands you want to Mention? There are countless bands to mention.
4.How has the response on your killer demo been so far?
Have any record lablels contacted you? The response to our demo has been great. It has spread faster than we had anticipated. As far as the underground labels several have approached us.
5.How many copies have you sold. We have gone through over 400 demos in less than 6 months.
6.You guys come from the U.S. so do you have any favorite bands from the states?
There are too many bands to list. To try to sum up the different bands that each of us likes from the states I would have to say Nile, Angelcorpse (RIP), Deeds of Flesh, Cannibal Corpse, Vile, Morbid Angel, FOG, Clean Flesh, the list goes on and on.
7. Do you know any brutal bands from Europe are you in contact with any?
Europe produces a lot of good bands. We are in contact with bands from all over the globe. Europe, Japan, Germany, Indonesia, Mexico, Australia etc… I don’t really want to keep naming off bands.
8. List your 5 favorite records.
The albums that have stayed in my stereo the longest are probably
Nile - From Darkest Shrines
Angelcorpse - The Inexorable
Sinister - Hate
Deicide - Legion
Dark Funeral - Vobiscum Sathanas

It all depends on my mood… (this doest not represent what my band mates may like)
Here it ends any last words? Thanx to our supporters, family, friends and bands we are in contact with. EXTRA THANX TO ALL THOSE THAT ATTEND THE SHOWS!
