Chapter II: A Gerudo Journey
~Hyrule Field, Hyrule, 10 H.Y.~
"Where are we going now?" Crono asked, trying to keep up with Link.
"Gerudo Valley, home of the Gerudo Tribe." Link responded, still running.
"Well...why...are...we...running...?" Crono said, trying to catch his breath.
"You don't want to be caught out here at dark, it gets rough..." Link shouted to Crono who was starting to lag behind.
"Why does it get...YIPE!" Crono yelled as a Peahat buzzed him straight over his head. "What is that?!"
"A Peahat! Run Crono! Run!" Link shouted urgently to Crono, as he saw the Peahat coming back around for another attack.
Both Crono and Link ran as fast as they could until they reached the Gerudo border, then the Peahat turned back towards Hyrule Field.

Link and Crono made their way to the Gerudo Gate to inquire about Crono's missing Stone.
"Let me see your Membership Card! Both of you!" the Gerudo Guard commanded.
"Membership Card? But I don't have a..." as Crono started to finish his sentence, Link slapped his hand over Crono's mouth.
"Don't tell them you don't have one!" Link hissed to Crono, nervously.
"You don't have a Card, eh? Well ya can't come in! Ha!" the Guard laughed.
"But, Ms....Guard...a precious item of my companion's was stolen by one of your people, and we have come to take it back!" Crono said, shoving his Card in the Guard's face.
"What kind of icon? Was it a stone?" the Guard inquired.
"Yes! Have you seen it?!" Crono asked, hopefully.
"Maybe...but you'll have to fight me for it!" the Guard asked as she drew her blade and lept onto the bridge, which shook violently from the force.
"You're on!" Crono shouted as he pulled out his sword and went full charge at her.
Crono's sword came within centimeters of piercing the angry Gerudo's flesh, but the Guard held up her blade and shoved him back, almost over the edge of the bridge.
"Close, but not close enough, Child!" the Guard yelled as she swiped at Crono with her free hand, knocking him over, leaving him clinging to the edge of the wooden bridge.
"Crono, grab on to the chain!" Link yelled as he extended his HookShot across the canyon, drilling it into the rock.
Crono took hold of the chain as Link took his mighty Sword and cut the supporting ropes, letting the Gerudo Guard fall, or almost, if she hadn't grabbed onto the rocky ledge on which Link and Crono was standing.
"Help me! I'll fall!" the Gerudo pleaded. "I'll tell you everything! Just help me!"
Crono and Link took her hand and pulled her up.
"It fell in the river...a running thief slipped and dropped it!" the Guard said, as she thanked Link and Crono many times.
"Thank you...Ms...Guard..." Crono said.
"Let's go!" Link said as he dove into the canyon, splashing into Hylia River.
"Um...ok, here goes nothing!" Crono shouted as he held his nose and dove, head first, into the river.
The Gerudo Guard waved as they were swept down the river to Lake Hylia.
