YAMAHA JOINS FLEETWOOD MAC REUNION

"Rhiannon" and "Songbird" are two of the countless tunes that have defined the popular music group Fleetwood Mac over the last two decades. These songs, along with 15 others (in-cluding four new tracks), were recorded by the band during a live MTV screening for release on a new reunion CD called The Dance.

With keyboardist Christine McVie's Yamaha C3 grand piano-regularly featured on albums and tours-now at her England home, Yamaha provided the band with a C7 grand piano. The C7 can be heard on the new versions of "Silver Springs," "Rhiannon" and "Songbird." It was also used on stage during the MTV screening of "The Dance" and home video, as well as during the band's tour.

"Christine wanted a Yamaha Piano," said Scott Pinkerton, pro-grammer and backup keyboardist on the new album. "She's used one for years."

"I have always found Yamaha pianos to be the most sturdy and reliable for touring," stated Christine. "Case in point, when taking my old piano that I had used for 20 years on tour to England, it needed very little tuning when it was taken out of its case. That just goes to show it's a mighty fine product."

It's been more than ten years since Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks have recorded together. The reunion coincides with the 20th anniversary of one of Fleetwood Mac's most memorable albums, Rumours, which has sold more than 25 million copies worldwide.
