Here's a story of a band named Feng-Shui

Feng-Shui, pronounced (fung-sh-way), was officially formed in 1997, under the name Muscle-Boy. Since the inception of the band we have played with such notables as: Diesel Boy, Scratching Post, God Lives Underwater, The Urge, K’s Choice, 2 Skinny J’s, Econoline Crush, Pure, Kottonmouth Kings, Moby, Shades Apart, Showoff, Papa Vegas, Orange 9mm, The Verve Pipe, Esthero, Citizen King, Kittie.

We initially formed as a three piece including Adam Vayne, on vocals and guitar, Jay Fritzius on guitar, and Dan Green on drums, which led to our hook-up with Buffalo based indie label Mary’s Lounge Records. We then added Matt Zawadski on bass and recorded a four-song demo on Mary’s Lounge Records. Dan Green was dropped from the line-up in early 1998 and was replaced full time in early 1999 by Eric Deutschlander formerly of The Conservatives. The name was officially changed to Feng-Shui shortly after Eric’s joining of the band. We then recorded “We” for the magazine Compzine and also did an interview. We also recently played at Edgefest 6 and is planning the follow-up to our four-song demo. Other plans in the coming year include regional and hopefully national touring and a pin-up calendar.

March 2000 We replaced drummer Eric Deutschlander with Heinz Remus. Also started recording follow-up to our demo. It will tentatively include five songs and possibly our cover of "I think we're alone now". We have a full length due out sometime next fall.
