Audio Bible Options Considerations An audio bible. It is so convenient, because there are so many options these days. You can listen to audio Bibles on audio cassette, ipod, computer, CD, mp3, and DVD players. You can even load portions on to your cell phone. Now you can experience the Word of God while driving in your car, exercising, working, relaxing at home, and lots of other activities. Did you know that if you listen to just 30 minutes of an audio Bible in the background while going through your normal everyday activities, you can finish the entire New Testament in 45 days? Most people find it difficult to read through the New Testament in one year, let alone 45 days. Think of the time that could be put to better use as you listen while driving or doing mindless chores around the house. And hearing the Word of God has such tremendous blessings. For one thing, the Word of God can come alive as you listen to the audio Bible dramatized with background music, and authentic-sounding event noises, which make you feel like you are really there listening in. Having a professional voice and background sounds convey excitement and conviction which sweeps the listener into the Word of God. By listening to audio Bible you will receive biblical understanding with appropriate dramatic expression to make your time in the Bible a rewarding and learning experience. Is there someone you know that perhaps has expressed disinterest or frustration reading the Bible? It has long been known that people have different ways in which they learn material best. Some are visual and like to read. Some are auditory and learn best by hearing. Others are kinesthetic, and have to be doing something while they are learning. For the auditory and kinesthetic learners, maybe learning from the Bible would take on a whole new dimension if they are able to hear the Word of God come alive in dramatized story form while they are actively doing other activities. As mentioned above, there are several ways to listen to audio Bible. One way is to download the mp3 Bible files onto your computer or mp3 player. MP3 Bible files will play on MP3 enabled CD players and computers. These MP3 files are especially designed to be loaded into a portable music device, such as the iPod. Usually there are individual mp3 files for each chapter of the Bible and play list for each book for quick reference. Location markers are useful for finding and keeping your place as you listen, and this is as easy as hitting fast-forward or reverse. Having the Holy Bible in audio format is a great way to bring the Gospel to life. You can return to child-like wonder and joy simply by listening to many free samples that are readily available on the internet. Often times you can find whole Bibles that are available for download. One such audio Bible you might try for starters is narrated by actor and storyteller Max McLean. Max delivers clarity and insight for your daily time in the Bible.
