My first stop was Pocatello, Idaho. I must say it's God's country.

Nobody seems to know. But it did! President Lincoln was a tall man. He had difficulty sleeping in the regular railroad sleeping car berths. So, while he was in the white house, he had a special railroad car made with an extra long sleeping berth. After his death, the railroad car was used as a special funeral train to take his body back to Illinois. The Lincoln rail car was eventually sold to the Union Pacific Railroad, than it became lost. After a long search, it was finally found in a roadhouse in Pocatello, Idaho, where it was being used as a construction car. Later it was displayed at the World's Fair in St. Louis. It ended up in Minnesota where it was destroyed in a grass fire in 1911.
