• 1 pound ground beef
• 2 cans tomato sauce
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon sugar
• 1 package medium-sized noodles (8 to 10 ounces)
• 1 carton sour cream
• 1 package cream cheese (3 ounces)
• 6 green onions - or 1 medium sized onion, chopped
• 1 cup shredded cheese

Simmer beef, tomato sauce, salt, and sugar 15 minutes. Cook noodles. Mix sour cream, cream cheese, and onion together. In a 2 quart baking dish, alternate twice in casserole - first noodles, then onion mixture, then ground beef. Top with cheddar cheese and bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees
