• 2 cups brown sugar
• 1/2 cup margarine
• 1/2 cup milk
• 2 Tablespoons peanut butter
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 3 cups quick rolled oats
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

In heavy saucepan, bring first three ingredients to a rolling boil for one minute. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended. Drop by rounded teaspoonful onto waxed paper and let cool completely. Makes approx. 4 dozen
