Ekin Cheng won Hit Radio's 1999 Best Film Music Award this month!
On a equally positive note, it seems that the Gigi scandal has not rocked Ekins popularity at all! Legend of Speed opened earlier this month, and while it was expected to do well no one had any idea it would do this well. On opening day Legend Of Speed grossed 15 million. That beat The World Is Not Enough and The End Of Days.
On a not so happy note, Gigi Leung (Ekin's newest gal pal) performed in a concert earlier this month and she was met with a splattering of boos and hisses. While I don't really care about Gigi, I don't think she deserves this sort of treatment. What did she do wrong? Like you wouldn't have run off with Ekin if he asked you! Can you blame the girl for falling inlove with him? =)
