Tearstoner
by
Larry Bryan
If you hide the eyes,
You hide the tears,
The pain that's built
Throughout the years
Nights of partying
With friend after friend
Another means
To an inevitable end.
Endless love
Never returned,
Honesty given,
Allows to be burned.
Walking enigma
Whom none understands
Dark introvert
with outstreched hands.
Though it's better to tell
It's less risky to hide.
Just one more step
In my slow suicide.
