This Is How You Choose Jesus

First....

You must know that you are a sinner---you do things that do not please God. You may not kill people, or steal, or hurt people. But, you do things you know in your heart are not good.

Romans 3:10 "As it is written, there is non righteous, no not one."

You may have killed someone, or taken drugs, or stolen, or hurt someone... You may have done the worst things imaginable...

In whatever place you may find yourself, you KNOW you have to please God. You want Him to see you as a clean person.

You know what?
It is the same for everyone.
We are all sinners...

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God."


Ok, now we know that we are sinners...
Now what?

Well, there is a price to pay for our sins.

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death (separation from God), but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord."

So.... we know now that we deserve to die or be separated from God. But...
God has given us a free gift...
His Son, Jesus. And through acceptiing this free gift of Jesus Christ, we can have eternal life.

How do we receive this free gift?

Romans 10:9 "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved."

So, you need to confess, or say with your mouth; and believe it in your heart; that Jesus is the son of God. You also need to believe it in your heart, and God knows what is in your heart.

Ok... You have said, with your mouth that you believe that Jesus is the son of God; and you believe it in your heart. And you believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. Now what?

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved."

If you believe it, then all you need to do is pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart and save you. And you can have eternal life with Jesus and the believers.

And this will be a great eternity, with no pain, no sickness, no hurting, no tears. No killings, no hate; only love and much joy and great friends and loved ones all around. You will have joy unspeakable. And no one will be able to take that away from you again.

Dear Jesus,

I believe you are the Son of God...
I believe that you died on the cross...
I believe that God raised you from the dead...
I believe that I am a sinner...
I believe that I can have that gift of salvation...
I ask you to forgive me of my sins...
I ask you to come into my life...
I ask you to be the Lord of my life...
I pray and ask you to save me today...
In the Name of Jesus...

Amen...

Thank you Jesus for saving me today...
