Mission One Report: Leah at Smackdown

Mission One Report: Leah at Smackdown

Well, ladies, here is the account of my Smackdown experience. (Just about me, NO SPOILERS are hiding in here.) Just before leaving I spoke to Lashana online and was inspired at the last minute to make a sign. I hadn't made one because I was too busy packing a dog collar, muzzle, leash, electric prod, etc. for my expedition to capture X-Pac. But once inspired, I came up with a whole new purpose.

If I'm visible on Smackdown at all (doubt it), I'm in far left corner (if you were standing on the entrance stage); I have short brown hair and my sign reads: "SMILE TORI, YOU'RE IN RANGE! Brides of Kane , JSD" and has in its center what looks like the crosshairs of a gun sight. Inspired by this and also by Lashana's request that I snag Steve Austin for her as well as X-Pac, I had more equipment to pack! I loaded up the sniper rifle, intending to end our Tori troubles once and for all, and threw in more restraining devices for Austin. I also decided that there was no good reason I couldn't snare HHH for myself as well.

Although I was apprehensive about going alone at first, I met some very nice guys who were seated around me. They liked my signs (the back of the Tori sign read:" SHUT UP AND LISTEN TO 'THE GAME'!" which was designed specifically for the asshole chant that seems always to ensue when HHH opens his mouth. It might show up, don't know. Also, my new friends helped stow some of the gear and check my ammo, apparently feeling that this was going to be an amusing evening. They asked only that I tell them when to duck.

I had very little trouble in snaring X-Pac and then Austin. I don't think they were expecting a woman of medium stature to come at them with a tazer and dog collar, so I had the advantage of surprise. Once both were in hand I settled down to watch the matches, amused by the obviously frantic attempts to locate Austin and X-Pac that were occasionally shown on the Titantron.

Then things started to go wrong. Well, not entirely. Kane came out and I was transfixed by his beauty and the splendor of his aura. As I stood rapt, X-Pac gnawed through his leash and Austin hit me with a Stunner, and they escaped. Kane however, sensing one of his Brides in distress, leapt the railing and chased them both off. He asked if I was alright, but I think it took me few minutes to answer as I was now in full gawk mode. Eventually, he vowed to avenge me upon both of them , but I told him that I was fetching Austin for a friend, so he shouldn't damage him. He agreed and narrowed his focus to X-Pac. He did in fact gain that revenge, but that's a story you'll see on Thursday.

Anyway, now I was mad, so I checked my ammo and waited to see if Tori was going to make an appearance. When she did, I happily kicked off the safety, told my neighbors it was time to duck, and ... could not get a clear shot to save my life! Or hers, in this case. Again, you'll see why on Thursday, but by now I was totally infuriated, and debating who else to pop, just to take out my frustration. I started to leave, totally disgusted and disappointed at the outcome of my attempts to improve the WWF's situation, but then something happened that kept the evening from being a total loss. HHH was everybody's ( and I mean EVERYBODY'S) whipping boy, once again, and was in need of some help.

As I made my way out of the building, I felt something nudge my leg, and it turned out to be HHH, who had crawled behind me, trying to hide from his cadre of enemies. He must have caught sight of the butt of my rifle and decided I was his best bet, and he grasped the tails of my coat and begged me to save him. So I hustled him out and took him home. He's recovering nicely, very grateful to me for saving his hide, and not a bad house guest. I should have him in tip top shape by Sunday.

Later,

Leah
