Divorce

Well the King Of All Media has separated from his wife of 20 + years. To some this is a great thing for Alison. To others it's a great thing for Howard. And yet, others think they should just call it all off and go back. Barbara Walters said, "What's the big deal"? Well you old dried up prune I'll inform you-you melanoma dopey enigma head, sucking Hugh Downes ass while he's been carrying you for the last 400 decades.

When a celebrity gets a divorce people moan and groan and some say, "SO"? But this was no average celebrity, and or marriage. This wasn't Charlie Sheen screwing another porn chick then beating her. This wasn't Jack Nicholson asking,"How much ma'am", or madam..to be more accurate. This was a bomb shell, in Hollywood there are very few of them. In fact, the only I can think of was when Bill Cosby porked a fat white woman and knocked her up. That's a bombshell; something we couldn't even make up or dream of and this was one of those things.

We all knew Howard played rough at his wifes expense, but we as did she always know it was for the good of the show in the name of comedy. Hell if she didn't like it she would have left a long time ago and taken half, right? So we all figured that since she stayed so long that it obviously couldn't be anything that Howard still gets in trouble for with the censors, right? But I guess after all this time it was never Howards whore admiring, or his comments about his sex life or lack there of. When the media smoke cleared it came down to something that has been with Howard since his youth..no not his "small member", but rather his reclusive life style.

I know how he feels. He works very hard out there playing that fame game all day long. When he doesn't "have to" he wants to sit at home and watch 'Ace Ventura'. The last thing he wants is to go out with his wife and play star again with her friends and "hangers ons". So after 20 years they have decided on different life styles and been amicably separated.

Personally I know I'm only 19, but I still can't grasp why couples who have been together that long would call it quits. Why would you want to go back "out there" especially since its been 20 years since last there, and the games changed drastically? You cannot know anyone better than your significant other so why bother? But I guess when your Howard and Alison Stern the game is a bit different considering your fame and money.

I really don't know whats going on, or why they did this. Half the Stern fans will love seeing their biggest hero finally getting to nail the starlets he once drooled for. The other half will beg him to stay with "Al" because the show will change as will the comedy. But if you really love Stern now is the time to show it.

Howard and Alison both agreed they weren't happy. If they are happier apart than together then we will and shall support them in whatever endeavor they decide to take on. I urge Stern fans to not judge Howard nor Alison on this new road they are traveling down, and I also urge Howard and Alison to not judge each other either. They are best friends for life and longer. They share 3 beautiful well adjusted smart daughters; and life isn't ending Howard and Alison it's just getting a face lift.

Howard you didn't "live too long" you did all you could and she did as well. You just chose different lives. And I know in my heart that both of you knew this way back when you both first met, but ignored it and pressed on ahead anyways...and for that to last 21 years then I applaud you..that's true love!
