I am but the stem of a rose
my family and friends make up the petals
of my rose.
The tears I shed for my family and friends give
my rose it's dew.
The happiness I share make up the green leaves
of my rose.
The hurt that I may cause others makes up the thorns
of my rose.
The love that I give my friends and family provide
the sweet fragrance
of my rose.
When you combine my rose with yours we have
a beautiful bouquet.
This is the way life should be... am I a dreamer?
