PHOTOJOURNALIST (KTUU) Anchorage, AK KTUU-TV, the #1 news team in Alaska, seeks a photojournalist with at least 2 years experience in a broadcast news organization. Salary to match the right individual who is an NPPA-oriented, self motivated, creative, visual storyteller. Are you the one everyone wants to work with? We need a candidate who knows sequencing, natural sound, and lighting. Our 50+ person news department produces 19 hours of 40+ share local news programming per week. We are dedicated to individual and collective success through semi-monthly peer critiques and brainstorming sessions. Every year we send a staff member to the NPPA workshop in Oklahoma. Expect frequent travel in the nation's largest geographical market. KTUU is a great station in a great living area. Shop at Nordstrom, then walk 1/2 mile to fish for king salmon in a downtown city creek. Must possess or be able to obtain a valid Alaska drivers license while maintaining a clean driving record. 1 week on-call duty every 10 weeks. Benefits package includes 10 vacation days per year, 10 sick days per year, 8 paid holidays per year, internet access, 50% NPPA dues, medical / dental / vision plan, and employer matching 401K plan.
