As tears fall unseen and silent cries go unheard, I close my eyes and remember another time..

Of dreaming of a better place..

Of believing in unicorns and fairies....

Of being filled with so much love ,Of finding joy in the smallest of things......

Of being intoxicated by the perfume of a spring morning..

Or feeling the wonder of the warmth of the sun or the fury of a summer storm.....

A time of laughter and joy at just the thought of knowing friends were there..a smile over shared secrets.......

To those who believed, I carry them in my heart where memories dance together and there are no shadows........

Remembering the hand that was extended and touching souls, of the laughter, the shared tears, the hugs and the joining........

But how do you say goodbye........

A tear falls and I sit in a void. Lost. Where do you begin again when sadness overwhelms you........

When you wake and you know they're gone........

How do you go on when you don't believe anymore when shadows become your friend and darkness is a welcomed place to hide........

So you wait in the dark hoping for a light to show you the way just any small flicker will do........
