fairly good at the 800
x 600
pixel size of screen
you that use the smaller screen will have to scroll the
page every now and then.
however it looks best
on the 1024 x 768 pixel size of screen.
I have no idea how it looks on other then IE browsers since I made it with

The
first section is thumb nails of the different Generic
Genere album art
I put together from photos I found online and on the
computer.
I
did not take all the photos however I did fix those that
needed fixed.
You might know some since they were mostly desktops.

I made this table with some of the images not all of them.
So you will need to get the zip file if you want any of

of the background colors and needed some contrast.

You
think this June Christy cover is not hard to find
and your right i found it really fast but you will notice.
that i have put the color back in to it
which i do with almost all of the covers i get from
online
because most
are just put on the servers without
any adjustment to the color, then they make them too
small of dpi which gets rid of more color.

This cover of June Valli was not
hard to find either but its was
in need of a background color adjustment
from gray back to the color black
and i put it
back in focus. Notice this is 45 rpm sleeve.

You
think this would not have been hard to find
since Justin Wilson made 14 albums and hundrds of
cook books but yet it was very hard to find
it took me a long time to fix it in photo shop.
I had to get
the title to show up it was barely showing
and the color was lacking again, which makes me crazy
the albums were not black and white tones most of them
had color but as in this one. i again found very faded
colors.

This cover of Julie London was
not too hard to find but it was once
again in need of a color adjustment it was put online by
someone
whom just put a 85 percent gray tone filter over it to
make it
dark to see the title. So I put in photo shop again and did hours
of work to get it looking good again. I took this optimum
time
to adjust the words on top with a black shadow so you can
read
them. I was able to find most the same fonts used but had
to
change a few of them and the layout of the title just a
little still the
words are only about 70 % in the wrong place she is the
Actress that Played Nurse Dixie on the Tv show Emergency.

another hard one to find the site i got it from had none

to buy but they had the album cover. so i put it here for
every one if they need it. There
is a Rap group by the same name of " Q "
it is not this group. this is the orginal group. the
people on the cover
are models. this
album cover won best of the year in 1977
/ 1978
the

needed work on like the others i adjusted

The king of country music, mr.
roy acuff himself this was hard to find i had looked for
months
to find it i guess some one seen my searching on ebay,
and they posted the image for
which i thank them, but they messed up, they took the
photo of their
album while it was laying down and that makes the top angle
back
in to the distance making it bad looking but i was able
to adjust it.
as i did for moon mullican's cover. you can't find a
better album of
Roy's greatest hits. why? because most have been made
digital with
out taking care to keep the mono sound which his songs
really do sound better in. those aren't bushes they are
song titles.

You see this sarah vaughan cover
on some sites where they took the
photo of their album and cut the top off and put it on
the bottom
that is wrong this is how they were printed back then the
black
section was on the top of the cover so you would see the
name
of the company when flipping through the albums in the
record
store's racks. just like the banner ads on the top of web
pages
it is seen first. and is ignored first also. as in some others with
white backgrounds this too was posted where it was that
nasty faded newspaper yellow. so i fixed this too.

Sir Malcolm Sargent was very
hard to find
any album at all this is the only one i found
it is not the album i have but it has his photo on it
I just adjusted
the shapness and contrast
on this one.

Doctor
Teleny's Stolen Goods
some of the
strangest classics ever recorded this stolen goods album
cover was really hard to find, it was in fact impossible
to find.
I had to scan this one in from my own album, well impossible is not
right i did find the image used on the 8 track tape of
the album but it
was not big enough to do anything with and someone had
removed the
guys arm on the left messing up the image.
yes that is the
guys arm he is standing guard out side the window for
his partner inside the window.. that is what the whole
photo looks like
but they did not use the whole photo on the cover. |

kentucky headhunters image as you can see
was found only as a small photo. it took some time to
find it
so i am putting it here i had to do lots of work on it
to make it look good at this size. if you can find a larger one that
looks better let me know i'll get rid of this one.

now don't the miracles look a lot better when
it is white like when it was first printed
instead of that faded yellow newspaper look that it was.
as a kid I
always thought those were some wild suits.
then one day i seen some one had got crafty in the art
work.
just imagine how long it took to cut the suits out in the
photo
remember they did it by film masking back then they did
not have
any computers to cut and paste in the images. |

The
Monkees music box album is in book form so its cover is
not
square. I have scanned several photos into the computer and have
edited it to be, close to the real album cover this album
has all the
songs they ever did on it but the cover was a remake from
their
"pleasent
valley sunday " album cover with just a few changes. you
will see that i could not find the font used for the
title of the album
but i got close. there is also the shadow on this
album but not on the
"pleasent valley sunday " album, so i tried to
put it in.

instead of that dark gray film of dirty it was.

you don't here much about them
they were a boy band and their voices changed?. |

cover of Don Cornell And Teresa Brewer is also another
extended play 45 i had to fix it.
i could not
find it online this is a photo i took of mine
but since 1953 it got a lot of rip marks and tape glue
and other damage, can you believe i found the fonts used
then,
we can still use them today, yes it was these colors with
one,
side of the white border missing. thats the side that
opens.. |

really a 45 rpm logo.
I had found this online its a real logo,
I had to add
the name of the group
to the logo for this album art to work
for the whole range of songs which never
seem to have the artist's named i have about
4 records with this group's name on but the
other records sound like the same people. |

cover image was found online and it was a cdrom
cover which i thought was a new image and not the
original art
photo cover for this group so i took the cdrom markings
off
this and the plastic glare, trying to change to more of
an album
look and feel to it. (you can see it was really a small
image)
it had lots of
boastful stuff about the type of material that
the cdrom was made out of, nothing to do with the group
so it's
not missed and makes this image a lot more clean looking. |

I had to put this in the computer its a real logo,
but for some reason it was not online.
I know the
other childhood record companys were found
just not this one, for you that wanted the book logo
just use this and in image editor use paint over for
the word "records" then use font "elementary
heavy" to
change it to read "books" |

This
cover image was so dark and small when i got it.
Whom ever put it online once again did that dark gray
film over it
it was dark enough it also took me a few hours to fix,
like the one
for julie london i did above. i am an artist but when i
had to fix
other peoples errors on auto's it made me stop doing auto
repair
i don't want to
stop doing art because of lazyness of others.
so start making the images correct when you put them on
line
this was so dark i could not see their face's or read the
song title. |
