I have worked as a towboat wheelman for many years.And being in the wheelhouse late at night I have seen many strange things>But this one I will tell you about sticks out in my mind.
Some time around 1989 late at night I was in the (intercoastal waterway)heading west.As I came around a bend at High Island (Texas) I saw a large glowing sphere floating above the island.As I watched the light a beam came out of it.An owl and a dog came down the beam and dissappeared behind a bush the the light flew away into the night.
Other boats were talking about it all night on the radio all night.I have no idea what I saw that night ....but it was weird...story submitted by Wayne
