"Well, who the hell is it?" It couldn't possibly be Sweetheart, and he couldn't imagine who else it would be.
"I dunno. Star...something." Teddy rolled his eyes, got up, and opened the door to his room. Thunder had already started back to his own room. "Ya know, I don't really enjoy talking through doors, or being your little messenger boy."
Teddy glared at the retreating gray pony, "Go fuck yourself Thunder." He continued on to the front door, left ajar by the socially-challenged Thunder. Starlight was still standing outside. "What the hell do YOU want?"
"Charming crowd...aren't you at least gonna invite me in?" Teddy stepped aside, allowing Starlight to enter. A little evening chat with Ace's girlfriend wasn't exactly on his "To Do" list, more like his shit list. All well, at least they would have the apartment pretty much to themselves with no nosey eavesdroppers. Teddy's other two roommates were out for the night and Thunder pretty much kept to himself when he was home.
"So, I've noticed you haven't been at school the past couple days."
"Like you care."
"Well, obviously I do or I wouldn't be here."
"Right...so, did Ace send you to do his dirty work?"
Starlight was getting aggitated, Teddy actually thought no one gave a damn about him. "No, actually he doesn't even know I'm here. Listen, I've heard both sides to the story now. It's all just a big misunderstanding, between you and Sweetheart, and you and Ace. Please, just hear me out."
"You're not going to give it up, are you?"
"Not until you at least hear what I have to say. I can be a stubborn little bitch too." "Finally!", Starlight had gotten a smile out of him. Teddy closed the front door and sat down on the couch, Starlight followed and sat down next to him. "Ok, so obviously it's not your fault Sweetheart is upset with you, but it's not entirely Ace's either. I'm not trying to make excuses for him, I just want you to know what really happened."
