Starlight is pink with yellow hair, blue eyes, and four stars (one large yellow, three small blue ones) as her symbol. Starlight is very responsible and even has a job working at the Ice Cream Shop her friends like to hang out at. Her mother owns it and the Beauty Shop next door, which is where her mother works. She wants to become a teacher when she grows up. Starlight's teacher (Miss Hackney) is her secret advisor. Starlight goes to her for advice about life outside of class. For instance, she really likes Ace but Ace likes Melody and Melody doesn't like Ace! (Confusing, huh?) Starlight went to Miss Hackney for advice on how to get Ace to notice her. By the end of the episode they were setting up a date to work on their soccer skills together! Starlight's mother is the only member of her family ever mentioned or seen on the show. |

Sweetheart is white with dark pink hair, pink eyes, and four hearts as her symbol. Sweetheart is a very sweet and loving pony who is also easily embarassed and blushes alot. She likes everyone, even Teddy whom no one else seems to like very much. She's often torn between her six girlfriends and Teddy, they try to make her choose who is more important to her. But Sweetheart always finds a way to keep all her friends (and Teddy too) and does her best to make everyone get along. She and Teddy end up being a couple in later episodes. Sweetheart hopes to be a doctor when she grows up. She has a very loving mother and father and younger triplet sisters named Sugar, Peaches, and another one who is never named on the show. I like to call her Sprinkles. =) |

Melody is dark pink with blue hair, blue eyes, and a microphone with musical notes as her symbol. Melody is quite shallow, caring more about how she looks than developing an actual personality! lol!! She's more of the "spoiled brat" type and thinks she's the center of the universe, rarely putting anyone above herself. Melody is the lead singer in her band called "The Rockin' Beats" and wishes to someday become a famous rock star. We only see her mother (who works as a nurse at the hospital) and her younger twin sisters Jing-A-Ling and Ting-A-Ling. |

Brighteyes is aqua with orange hair, pink eyes, and a notebook with pen as her symbol. She is very smart and loves school, and always seems to be on her way to the library or to do her homework. She loves volunteering for anything she can possibly help out with as well, keeping herself extremely busy. Bright Eyes also delights in sharing her knowledge by quickly defining a word for her friends if they're unsure of its meaning. She's heavy into the environment and does all she can to get everyone else to protect it too. Her father is the only family member mentioned, he works for the town newspaper. |

Patch is peach with pink hair, yellow eyes, and a patch as her symbol. Patch is the tomboy of the group and even plays on the school soccer team! She craves danger and wild adventures, and easily becomes totally bored if nothing exciting is going on. In which case, she'll go out and find her own adventure. Patch has a very active imagination and believes in UFO's and "Glowing Magical Ponies". She loves playing practical jokes too and wishes to become a circus clown when she grows up. Patch is an only child and was adopted by her parents. |

Clover is purple with light pink hair, pink eyes, and a four-leaf clover as her symbol. Clover is very clumsy and superstitious, always succeeding in making a mess of things and blaming all her bad luck on a teapot she once found. She loves ballet and dreams of becoming a beautiful ballerina, just like her older sister Meadowlark. Her father is a sculptor, her mother a librarian, and her sister Meadowlark is a world-famous ballerina who travels around the world with her husband, Cheval, and their dance company. |

Bon Bon is yellow with purple hair, blue eyes, and a wrapped piece of candy as her symbol. Bon Bon just loves to bake, and then eating everything in sight! Food is always the first thing on her mind, and the first thing she wants to make when she gets home. Every event is reason enough for her to bake some kind of special cake or dessert. Bon Bon's most prized possession is her diary, in which she records everything that happens to her. She dreams of becoming a beautiful fashion model (hate to break it to ya Bon Bon, but you'll never make it if you keep eating the way you do! lol!). She has a very large family consisting of her mother and father, younger siblings Rusty, Amber, Twink, and "baby pony", and her older sister Misty. |

Ace is tan with off-white hair, green eyes, and a soccerball as his symbol. Ace is the star athlete of the school, with the ego to match! He's captain of the soccer team and the dream date of every girl in the school (especially Starlight). But he really likes Melody, who could care less about him. He's very cocky and loves to show off his athletic abilities. He and Teddy seem to get along pretty well, especially when they gang up on Lancer! None of Ace's family is ever mentioned or seen on the show. |

Lancer is dark blue with dark red hair, blue eyes, and a fleur-de-lis as his symbol. Lancer is very rich, but doesn't let his money go to his head. He's a bit naive in the ways of the world and allows Ace and Teddy to sway him quite easily. Lancer is very nice and sweet and tends to side with the girls, much to Ace and Teddy's dismay. His parents always seem to be off on some exotic trip somewhere. |

Teddy is blue with orange hair, blue eyes, and a black comb as his symbol. Teddy is the loner/bully type who likes to cause trouble and be a nuisance in general. He absolutely hates school, which shows in his grades. The only two ponies that don't seem to absolutely hate HIM are Ace and Sweetheart, though Sweetheart has been given many reasons to do so. She's the only one who seems to truly understand him and the only one he confides in. She alone knows his one and only secret (that he has a teddy bear) and what he's really like (basically, he's all talk). Teddy and Sweetheart make such a cute couple! As for his family, we hear his mother's voice announce Sweetheart's arrival in one episode and he tells Bon Bon that he was grounded by his father for failing a math test in another, but that's it. They never gave much info at all about the boy's families on the show. But I've remedied that, for Teddy at least, in my stories! |
