Millenium Review

Puffy: *thinking* I can't wait to steal these tracks and pawn them off as my own.

Kevin: "I don't get it. Wait. Hang on. A review?"

Nick: "It's cool, yo. What are we talking about again?"

Okay, y'all. Ami, here, to review that new BSB CD Millenium. I've read all the other reviews, and I figured, you'd all want my opinions, too. So, HERE WE GOOOOOO. (sorry, wrong band)

LARGER THEN LIFE- Okay, I have to admit, the "yeeeeeeee-ah-hahahahaha" thing makes me kind of scared. I mean, jeez, that is not at all what I wanted to hear when I first popped the CD into the stereo. However, the rest of the song was pleasantly surprising. "Wishing I could thank you in a different way" just made me laugh hysterically, thinking about how all the 12 year olds will scream when Nick sings it in concert.

I WANT IT THAT WAY- The single we all heard before the release. I still am not quite sure what way we want it. We never wanna hear you say "I want it that way", yet we have to beleive when I say "I want it that way." I don't get it, but I sure like this song. GO KEVY-KEV! SING IT LOUD AND SING IT PROUD. AJ's harmonies kick, too. I love this song.

SHOW ME THE MEANING- The first time I heard it, I wasn't too fond of it. But, when you hear them talk about Denniz PoP and his connection to the song, it takes on a very haunting quality. It's now one of my faves on the album.

IT'S GOTTA BE YOU- Maize. You call it Corn. Not the boys best effort. Ups to Bri and AJ for vocal arrangements, though. Arranging music is a bitch, so I'm glad they undertook it.

I NEED YOU TONIGHT- Yes, the moron sings it, and yes, it's kind of corny, but if you're in the right mood, it can be a very sweet song. You just have to get past Nicky's muppet-like voice and Michael Jackson-esque breathing techniques.

DON'T WANT YOU BACK- The only song on the album I would play at top volume while driving through the streets of my hometown. This song KICKS SO MUCH ASS! Just hearing the first few bars makes me smile. Can't wait to see a dance routine to go with this, since I KNOW Fatima puts some PHAT moves to this beat.

DON'T WANNA LOSE YOU NOW- I think it's funny how the theme of tracks 5, 6, and 7 seems to be, I want you back, I don't want you back, okay, I want you back again. This song is aight, not my fave, but I must give pros to the moron for vocal arranging, because, like I mentioned before, that's a bitch. I HATE MUSIC THEORY! Sorry, had to get that out.

THE ONE- "I'll be the one, who will make all your sorrows undone..I'll be the light..." Got Jesus? I love you Bri, and I love the Lord, but you could disguise your preaching a little better, or help me when I start writing my Christian album next year.

BACK TO YOUR HEART- I can't wait to see who records the country version of this FABAMUNDO song by Kevy-Kev and Co. Listen at the very end of the song for some phat vocals that are very faint in the background. Everytime I hear this on my headphones, I just want to cry. It's a beautifully written song. This song would get an A+ in my music theory class.

SPANISH EYES- I blame Howie for this ABOMINATION. The title suggests something cool, the song fails to deliver. DAMN YOU UGLY! YOUR FAULT YOUR FAULT YOUR FAULT!

NO ONE ELSE COME CLOSE- Also, not one of the best efforts for the Boys. It just makes me sleepy, and that's about it.

THE PERFECT FAN- Awwwww, Bri wrote a song for his mammy! How sweet. A very very SICKENINGLY sweet song, but ups to Bri for conducting a choir, arranging some choir vocals and the like. Overacheivers kick ass! Just, don't ever join my theory class. Then I won't be the top student anymore.

That's it, y'all. That's my review. Overall, a good disc to buy. The pics are great, except for Howie's, but it's not his fault he looks like Balki. Read the thank you's, too. Very cute, Nicky Nick, putting stuff in code. I hope you all enjoy!
