James Vivrette Passes Thursday, October 12

 

James W. Vivrette aged and recognized citizens of Hickman County breathed his last breath on October 12, and quietly passed away.  Caused of death was declared by physicians to be general Debility. Mr. Vivrette was born February 25, 1844. On March 4, 1866 he was married to Miss. Levinia Muggraves of Raleigh Ill.  To these union eleven children were born two of who survive their father Mrs. Vivrette died in November of 1913.  The children born of this union who survived are Annie Bone of Clinton and Daisy Krauss of St. Louis.

            On May 15, 1915 Mr. Vivrette was married the second time to Mrs. Annie Fields of Arlington, Kentucky Mr. Viverette, with four children by a former marriage survive. The deceased is also survived by a sister, Julia Emma Russell of this country.  And several grandchildren and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

          Mr. Vivrette was a member of the Baptist church here having transferred his membership the Arlington Baptist church at the time he and his wife moved to this city. His record was one to envy he served honorably and well with the Union army.  Having enlisted at Du Quoin. Ill. And Served as a private in the Sixth Illinois Cavalry.
