Raymond R. VIVERETTE was born June 23, 1914. His parents were Sidney
Samuel(Sam) VIVERETTE and Mary Elizabeth(Lizzie) King. Raymond worked for the Atlantic Coastline Railroad during the Depression. He farmed until 1962, when he went to work for the Smith Douglas organization. He died in his home in Enfield on January 29, 1979.
He was married to Sallie L. FISHER, who was born July 15, 1921, in Nash County, North Carolina . She spends most of the year in NC and most of the winter in Texas.

Ray Viverette was born on December 10, 1949, in Nash County, North Carolina. He grew up in Enfield, NC, where he attended Enfield High School. He received his Associate of Arts degree from Chowan College in 1970, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from
Atlantic Christian College(Barton College) in 1972. After teaching for sixteen years in Johnston County, he moved with his family to Mont Belvieu, Texas, where he teaches at Barbers Hill High School.
Ray married Virginia Faye Gregory on June 15, 1974. They have four children.
