Virginia Elizabeth Viverette Flores is the oldest child of Ray and Virgie Viverette. Graduating 5th in her class at Barbers Hill High School, she won honors as an All-State competitor in track and basketball. She played basketball for the University of Texas, where she graduated with a degree in English in 1999. She is married to Richard Flores, son of the late Robert Flores and Linda Flores of San Antonio, Texas.
