"From Staff Reports
A utility vehicle accident Saturday night on FM 641 southwest of Richland left a 9-year-old boy dead and a woman injured when the utility vehicle they were riding on overturned four miles southwest of SWCR 2200.
Trooper James Colunga of the Texas Department of Public Safety identified the boy killed in the crash as Kenner Watson of Wortham.
Watson was riding in a 2008 Kawasaki Teryxe two-seat UTV operated by David Langley, 35, about 11:15 p.m. Saturday on FM 641. Jennifer Sterling, 33, was also riding in the UTV. Both are from Wortham.
The DPS report said the UTV was westbound on the highway when the driver reported hearing a loud noise and the vehicle began to move from side to side, rolling onto the right side in the middle of the highway. All three occupants were ejected, and the UTV came to rest on top of the them, according to the report.
Langley did not require treatment. Sterling and Watson were both transported to Navarro Regional Hospital by Corsicana Fire Department EMS crews. Watson died from his injuries.

"Kenner Rope Watson, 9 years of age, of Wortham, went into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, December 14, 2014 in Corsicana, Texas. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Wortham. Reverend Mike Fautt and Reverend Justin Colquette officiated. Interment followed at Wortham Cemetery. Family Visitation was held on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the church.
Kenner was born on June 2, 2005 in Corsicana, Texas to Matt Watson & Jennifer Sterling. He was a member of the Victory Full Gospel Fellowship in Wortham and loved baseball, basketball, roping with his dad, hunting, videogames and snuggling with his mommy, family and friends.
Kenner was preceded in death by his brother, Rylance Langley; grandfather, Norman Watson and great-grandparents, Faye Sterling, Faye Johnson and Jr Weir.
Survivors include his father, Matt Watson & wife, Sammie Jo of Teague; mother, Jennifer Sterling and David Langley of Wortham; grandparents, Ronnie & Donna Sterling of Wortham; Nana and G-paw, Elsie & Patrick Watson of Kirvin; his Papaw, Sammie Sterling of Wortham; uncle, Ronnie Sterling of Wortham; brothers and sisters, Shalee Watson, Keegan Watson, Addie Villa, Katlyn Villa, Rylan Langley, Racyn Langley and Ashton Langley; aunts and uncles, Catherine and Danny Jonston, Christina & Randy Grimes, Micca Watson and Brady Watson.
